Questions about Juno...?!
Question: I watched Juno yesterday and have a few questions:
-Does Paulie's Mom know that Juno is pregnent with his baby?
-What does the note that Juno writes to Jennifer Garner say? (I was watching this on my iPod so it wasn't clear)
-Is Jason Bateman actually attracted to Juno at any point (as in sexual) or is more just envious of her life, thus prompting him to leave Jennifer Garner?

I never got the impression that Paulie's mom knew Juno was pregnant with his baby. It was very clear she didn't like Juno.
The note said Vanessa if you're still in, I'm still in.
I don't think Bateman's character was exactly attracted to Juno sexually. I think he missed the person he used to be and Juno's free spirited ways made him want that again. It seemed to me that Vanessa had changed him and he wasn't happy with it. It seemed he didn't want to be tied down as a family man.

The note Juno wrote said basically that she would still give the baby to Jennifer Garner even though Jason Bateman was leaving.
Yes, it certainly seemed like Bateman was overly attracted to Juno. That was probably what made him rethink the baby plan and the marriage.
- Yes, she does know, which makes things even more awkward with Juno coming over.
- It says "If you're still in, so am I", or something to that effect. Basically, it's a note telling her that she can still have the baby, and that the perfect family thing does not matter to Juno.
- This part is widely debated, actually. Some people do think that he was sexually attracted to Juno, but others think Juno is a reminder of what he could have in a relationship -- someone he has a lot in common with, and who he can laugh and have fun with. Very few people think he had any sexual intentions with her, but that doesn't mean he wasn't attracted to her.
No, paulie's mom doesnt know he is the father, she also strongly dislikes her.

no mark isnt really "in love with juno" just the idea of her

Well he never really took much of the responsibility for the baby, so i doubt he ever told his mother.

No, well I don't think. Because you know how they had so much in common and would talk about music and watch movies, that's what he wanted to be. He didn't want to have a child or start a life, his wife was forcing him into it. He said he had a room for his "stuff" because he's wife takes it as a joke when it's his life and career. Juno showed him that he didn't want to be with Vanessa.
