American Film Institute Top 100.....revised?!
Question: I have seen the majority of films (around 75) on the American Film Institute's Top 100 list, and I don't completely agree with it. So I've compiled what would be my top 10 (not necessarily in the order that I like them), and was wondering if you could tell me what you think.. Thanks!
1. The Godfather
2. Casablanca
3. Citizen Kane
4. 2001: A Space Odyssey
5. Schindler's List
6. The Graduate
7. Chinatown
8. To Kill a Mockingbird
9. Vertigo
10. Taxi Driver

While not in 100% percent agreement, I think yours is better than theirs. I mean, Citizen Kane is a great movie, but i do agree that Casablanca is better, along with the Godfather. Other than those few everything gets so convoluted that its hard to make a good list but yours is pretty good.
The only one I'd argue with is "2001" I never got what people were so beside themselves about. It put me to sleep and i LOVE movies
