Is there any of you think you are too old to be a Harry Potter fan?!

Question: I am 25, I have been a huge fan since the first book came out. Have read all the books, watched all the movies. I have some HP souvenirs, I even have the magic wand in my office. I am thrilled waiting for the last movie.

How crazy are you about Harry Potter?

I don't think there's any age limit on HP. When the books first came out, I bought them for my nephew, in 2000 I think, and they just gathered dust. So I told him that if he didn't want to read them, then I would.

Well, it took me about two days to zip through "Sorcerer's Stone" and after that, he started reading them. So now its something that we bonded over. But now he's two books behind and hasn't read "Half Blood Prince" or "Deathly Hallows"

But I must confess, I haven't had the heart to finish "Deathly Hallows". I guess I'm just prolonging the inevitable. BTW, I'm 37.

I'm 68 and I enjoy the Harry Potter movies... I'm not into buying the junk... but I do enjoy the movies.

That's cool. At 34, I think I'm a bit too old. I started reading the 3rd book but stopped because the writing is just too young for me. I was losing interest. I haven't seen any of the movies. I've heard they are terrific but I enjoyed the first 2 books a lot. I don't want to see the movies. The books were good enough.

Haha I used to be obsessed last year with Harry Potter, it was like my LIFE. I even got a stuffed otter and named it Hermione. (Because her Patronus is an Otter) I'm 15, by the way. I've got all the movies, all the books, and I KIND OF know the theme song on keyboard. lol Actually I was planning on watching the 5th later on today. (My favorite of them all!)
It was the screensaver on my computer at one point too!

this is borderline chat FYI...

I will never be too old

I'm 17 and started reading them in 5th or 6th grade i think. i've read every one several times, seen all the movies in theaters and own them on dvd. About 5 years ago some friends and i had a "harry potter party". We had the forbidden forest and we each made a wand and hats. it was funny. I still have that wand on my dresser.
iloveharrypotter

I'm 29, and I don't think I'm too old.... except I don't really like fantasy stuff. (BTW, am I the only one who thinks the kid who played Ron in the movies is cute? Not the Harry Potter kid, although the thought of him in Equus is fascinating.)

i thought the 1st 2 films were the best!
still like it though but you can't beat the 1st 2 !!
