Question: Hi guys, I have just watch the first Matrix but I don't get it. Could someone that has watched the first Matrix and gets it please help me understand it. I mean I loved the fighting scenes, but about the other stuff.

Dude I watched all the matrix movies for the special effects and stuff .. i know the story is confusing .. i guess it has something to do with reality as we know it being a delusion and our ability to go beyond what we think is real.
watch the other 2 movies they answer stuff they did not some up in the first one it was a good trilogy
Basically, the world as we know it isn't real. It's a computer generated world known as the Matrix.
Its a Messiah story, neo means one, the one he's come to save the world. Neo over comes the powers of evil to save lives.

well i didnt understand too much of it but i believe that the general drift was that the man - leo- was the "savoir" for the human race because we were trapped in a computer perfect world run by robotic computer animated aliens who looked like us . we lived a computer matice and only rebels had escaped this horrid lie of a world we thought was true- the ones who escaped it tried to free others and there was a prophecy that one would come and free them all- thats where leo comes in to the picture. if im right so far its a miracle because i thought it was cool but confusing too. hope this helped a little bit
