Question: One of the last old fashioned people, movie star or not. I had the pleasure of meeting the man a couple of times, and I have a signed letter from him. Just one of the non-monetary rewards of working in the movie biz. He was definitely one of a kind. Not only was he one of the finest actors ever, but he was very magnanimous, very professional and a shining example of what America is all about.
Not only that, but he fought to protect my gun rights in a world full of Hollywood lefty nitwits. I send my undying gratitude to him for that.
