Question: i have about 60 films on video and loads more on dvd as that seems to be the latest craze.
but my fave film on vhs is Uncle Buck. What's yours? And do you still use your video player?

we have tons of vhs tapes here at our house and my kids have even more...I keep buying the Disney Vhs films for them because of the collector's value they earn and it is easier to trust a kid with one of those than a dvd to scratch up. That is one reason why I will always perfer them to dvds is because the dvds can flake or scratch and then it is off to spend 25 dollars on a new one sometimes.
I just remember being a kid and the videos lasting sooo much longer because of their quality. I still have some I had as a kid. Plus I have some movies on video that you just can't find on dvd. They haven't been released yet....
My favorite? Date with an Angel...and I still giggle at my New Kids on the Block and The Guys Next Door tapes...lol!
yes i still have all my michael jackson vids from when i was younger
i still have a few videos + we still have a video player.

i have nearly every disney film there is on VHS but i can't say which is my fave i loved them all!!
i can't watch them anymore though because the video player has broke :(
no i dont have videos but i have uncle buck on dvd my daughter loves it it is very over watched in my house shortly followed by the 3 shrek films
yea i still have video's from a few years back. i think the last video i bought was johnny english...or atleast the last one i remember buying.
and then we still have all those baby video's from when my brother, sister and i were little back in the 90's and early 00's...
My Son has loads of Videos - all of which he still watches. They are so cheap at the Charity Shop - when he finished we take them back and buy more.
I have lots of videos. The favorites are of my kids. Actually, I still have lots of vinyl.
Mine is Jurassic Park because i always used to watch it when i was little and no we don't have the video player anymore. PS Uncle Buck is funny
I got rid of my video player and bought a Humax 9200 PVR. Have never looked back.
my kids still have hundreds of videos and they play them all the time -my favourite that i have on video is the film its a wonderful life
I still have the video player as I can't bear to part with all of my recordings and favourite videos, my favourite film I have on vhs has to be Armageddon, I know its cheesy but I can't throw it away, although dvds are much easier and a much better picture
Still got the VHS player for recording some shows. Got some Wrestlmania tapes, GI Joe The Movie, Toy Story.
I still have plenty of them. Armageddon with Bruce Willis is one of my favorites.
i'm still buying them. I JUST BOUGHT ONE YESTERDAY AS A MATTER OF FACT!! Video rental stores are Selling them for 25 CENTS! i am not ashamed. there is nothing i cant see on a tape that i can see on a dvd for a FRACTION of the price. I have 2 vcr's.
ive got the Jurassic park trilogy, Titanic, The Mummy, and all the disney classics of course lion king little mermaid all the aladdins etc.

Ohhhhhhhh yes, i love the film Seven with Brad Pit and Morgan Freeman, which i have on vid also, and have played endlessly, but i now have it on DVD, so just need to put it on the 50" screen to see it in a different light. But the vid still has many memories so i will play them both. just to compare of course. Happy viewing.

Yes, I still have videos and a VHS player. My favorite film on VHS has got to be the animated movie Anastasia. I loved that movie when I was little, and I still do.
My video player is a combo with the TV in the spare room. I also have 100's of videos and some of them have not been released on DVD so they are precious such as:-

I love the charity shops and got the Blackadder series, League of Gentlemen full set with all the stickers and a free pink 'Babs Cab'. They only cost ￡1. I dread the day when the VCR breaks down, I've had it for about 15 years!
Yeah i still have some and my favourite is the jazz singer.
Still got some videos trying to replace them all with dvd,still use video player occaisionally favourite film would be Shawshank Redemption
