but also maybe take the lead but more about the learning to dance then the romance
I thought that the movie "Take the Lead" starring Antonio Banderas about inner-city teens who learn ballroom dancing was similar because like Step Up, it had great dancing. Also, Jenna Dewan, who plays the lead Nora in Step Up plays one of the lead girls, Sasha, in this movie. This movie had amazing dancing and I found it had a decent story as well, considering it was based on a true story.
