I'm making a To Kill a Mockingbird movie for school...?!

Question: I want it to be funny, any good funny ideas that relate to the book? It can be just a laid back funny thing.

Have a food fight for the part where all the food is brought for Atticus after the trial.

Build a snowman without the snow like they did in the book with the mud, just no snow.

Have the stuff they find in the tree be stupid, meaningless things, like a bobby pin, nail clippers, toothpaste, etc.

When Atticus shoots the dog, have the dog be somebody in a funny animal costume, like a pink bunny like in A Christmas Story.

When the kids are play acting in the yard, maybe have them doing some kind of gymnastics or Live Action Role Playing or something you find funny.

Wish I could be there to help, it sounds fun.

Good luck.

make it gangster.
Or valley girl style.

OH THAT WAS THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!! I dont have any tips really but maybe u should just do the funnies scenes from the book..not the really serious ones though because that wouldn't be really funny..when ur done can u send it to me???

I don't think the story is very funny, so it might be difficult to make the movie funny and accurate, unless you're creating a parody? There are parts of the story that are humorous, but the main idea of the story is social injustice.

I've read the book and don't remember if this part is in it. But I turned on the movie in the middle and this scene, suddenly being on the screen, made me laugh my head off. Scout, the young girl in the movie, is in a ham costume (for a school play) being chased through the woods! Imagine how funny that would be out of context. So get yourself a ham costume. If it's good enough for Scout....

give Scout a mohawk
