Took my little brother too see it in theatres and he loved it. I thought it was pretty good for a kids movie.

It was cute but I probably wouldn't buy it unless I had kids who liked it.
However, it was pretty cool to see a friend of mine from college jamming onstage playing the keyboard in the movie.
That was my favorite part...
I was personally disappointed that Alvin and the Chipmunks won an award over Ratatoille, because Ratatoille was a great animated film (considered one of the best ever made! i agree!, but i doesn't beat Toy Story =D). But, i somehow did not like the Chipmunks movie for some reason.. lol
my brother loved it though! he had fun and thats what counts! =D
