Has anyone heard heard of the Beatles film "Let It Be" getting a DVD r!

Question: hey

i don't think so. I have heard there are releases on dvd but they are derived from VHs and are of poor quality.

on amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/custome...
the dvd is said to be (by the user of the newest comment, from november 2007) fake and of poor quality, imported from China. Another user suggest he got it from a site that specialized at selling rare dvds at high prices..

Also, Wikipedia, which i trust blindly, says this about it:
"In a February 2007 interview with Neil Aspinall regarding the remastering of the film for DVD release, he stated, "The film was so controversial when it first came out. When we got halfway through restoring it, we looked at the outtakes and realized: this stuff is still controversial. It raised a lot of old issues."[7] This is an indication that it may be a very long time before Let It Be is ever reissued on DVD."

also there are no dvd details of Let It Be on The Internet Movie Database.

hum, i guess it is not out yet (although the dates of the articles are old); but hell do i look foreward to it =P
