What can you say about the movie; 'Sweeny Todd'?!
Question: If you like Tim Burton's work you should see it, I saw it and I loved it. It's something so different it's amazing. But it has to be said it's not for everybody, you have to -like I said- like Tim Burton's work, like the musical genre, like pretty bloody movies and you absolutely have to be able to keep an open mind. To me this was a great movie but I understand not everybody feels the same.

well...its a musical and they only talk for about 10 minutes in the WHOLE film. its a bit hard to understand cuz you have to listen to ALL the lyrics in the songs to keep track
A lot of things. But in a nutshell, I thought it was a masterpiece. Another great film by Tim Burton, I must say. However, if you don't pay much attention, you'll easilly fall behind on the plot.
I was very enthused when it came out, but was disappointed after seeing it in the theater. I didn't know the story line before seeing it, and I felt the story lacked something. I loved the costumes and make up! And, the actors were very good. But, the story didn't thrill me.
if you like other tim burton and johnny films then u will like this as well. i thought it was good!
It was musically disturbing. I loved the irony of the ending. Lots of blood. If you are into musicals and lots of blood, you will love it.
It is by far my favorite musical, which isnt saying much considering I hate musicals lol, but it was a very good movie.
It is definately in my Top 3 favorite Burton movies along with Nightmare and Big Fish.
