It has Peter O'Toole, who is an elderly actor, playing an elderly actor, and a young woman from the north of England playing a young woman from the north of England. It's hard to describe, but that movie has stayed with me more than any other in a long time.
Well, it is not romantic, but I loved 'No Country For Old Men' and it won the movie of the year.

Sweeney Todd. It's really sad and kinda bloody,but the blood doesn't look real. And i wouldn't eat ground meat right before or during watching this movie. You'll see why when u watch it
La Vie En Rose
The movie is the story of French singer Edith Piaf (you will need subtitles unless you understand French). She had a very tragic life so if you like romantic kind of sad movies, you will LOVE this movie. Marion Cotillard won an Oscar for her role as Piaf. Plus the music is beautiful.
