Question: Have anyone ever noticed how every single movie that comes out is always like RATED NUMBER ONE THIS SUMMER OR THIS YEAR. how can every movie be rated number one.

Actually they are slicing and dicing the numbers. For example, a movie may not be number one this week, but it may be the NUMBER ONE COMEDY, or the NUMBER ONE FAMILY FILM, or the NUMBER ONE THRILLER... If there are twenty movies out this week and two are family films and one is ranked at #10 and the other at #15, the one at #10 is the number one family film this week - see how that works?
they like to make you think they're number one for they year, summer, whatever. they prob get #1 opening week (or predict they will) and then just say that its the best movie
