Question: there was a Bond film ages ago where one of the girls was subsequently discovered to be a man, and all reference deleted from the film credits I believe. What became of him/her?

Her name is Caroline Cossey. I've read her bio, it's called My Story. She is indeed a beautiful woman and her book is a good read, quite interesting. I picked it up at a second hand store but I'll bet you can find her story quite easily.
