What's so good about Superbad?!?!
Question: I haven't seen this film and all I have heard is how great it is! Is it really that good? Should I rent it? Is it totally daft humour like the later American Pie films? Please let me know what you thnk about this film!

i thought it was pretty good, pretty gross though, its about this 1 guy wanting to have sex with this girl, makes a compromise to bring all the beer, and thats where the fake license of mclovin come in. its more for like teens though...idk, watch it, its one of those movies you HAVE to watch to see if you like it. look at preveiws of it online, at youtube. heres a link....

Ew, no. I did not like it at all, neither did any of my friends, or my sister. I felt like it was just cheap humor and didn't really have a point, but I think it just depends on the person whether or not you will like it.
Its pretty funny, but it was WAY over-hyped and if you rent it with really high expectations then you'll be a disappointed. Worth watching, but don't expect it to be amazingly funny. Its a step up from American Pie though.
I didn't like it at all.. In my opinion it was lousy, had no point, and was disgusting. It had some funny things in it, but the rest was horrible. Yes, it is daft humor. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time or money, but that's just me.
I loved this movie. It's well written and accomplishes everything they were trying to accomplish with the American Pie movies. Hilarious.
Superbad is quite touching, and also amazingly funny. but its not just luaghs, it has alot of aspects that make it a good movie, plus some action. If you get what that means youl love it!
its brilliant, i normally hate teen movies like that but this is really good, it has a brilliant script, its sweet and its essentially about two kids who are growing up and need to face a future apart from each other. its something i think everyone has gone thru before. its very crude, has the mother of all dick jokes and some would say it is silly but it is actually very clever. and it has mclovin! chikka chikka.....
The movie is good because of the things they say.
And the whole plot thing about getting drunk and getting girls is sooooo funny!
I watched it.It was stupid.Do not waste your money on this film.
