Burn, Hollywood, Burn - it swept the Razzies in 1998. It was supposed to be a spoof - the original title was Burn, Hollywood Burn - An Alan Smithee Film. Alan Smithee is the name that gets put on a film as the director when the film is so bad that the director doesn't want his name on it. It was directed by Arthur Hiller, who thought it was soooo bad he had them take his name off of it so that it is credited as being directed by Alan Smithee.
