The Hills Have Eyes the original one was way better than the remake and the new Omen was exactly like the original only the original had way better acting and music. The Amittyville Horror was way better than the new one it sucked horribly.
The Hills have eyes remake was great and the Amityville Horror.
Batman Begins was better than the original Micheal keaton version.

I KNOW THEY ARE DOING A REMAKE OF NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. FOR THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW THIS WAS JOHNNY DEPPS FIRST ROLE. I THINK THE REMAKE SHOULD HAVE HIM PLAY FREDDY. NICE WAY TO COME FULL CIRCLE.
The remake of guess who's coming to dinner was better than the first one with Sidney Portia. Although, the new version was made into a comedy while the original was a drama. 3:10 to Yuma was pretty good. The original was pretty much the same. I hated the Dawn of the Dead remake because I love George Romero's work and I felt they didn't do it justice. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't the same. I do wish they would remake The Neverending Story. I think the special affects would be awesome.

I know they remade Starsky and Hutch from a TV series, but omg, they should've left the series untouched. It was so good....and the movie so wasn't.
I like the Freaky Friday and Guess Who remakes and Batman Begins is excellent!!!
If Hitchcock redoing his own "The Man Who Knew Too Much" counts, I liked that one very much. "3:10 To Yuma" was all right too.
"The Vanishing" has to be one of the worst remakes (also by the same director as the original) ever.
3:10 to Yuma was a remake and I thought that was good. The remake of Dawn of the Dead wasn't that bad because it's actually a movie on it's own feet, the only thing similar to the original is the people being stranded in a mall when the town is overtaken by zombies. Other than that, I wasn't impressed with these recent remakes.
The grudge and the ring were good remakes but Shutter, pulse, halloween, and the amityville horror SUCKED!!
