Arrested Development - favourite quotes?!
Question: I'd heard of the show from watching a few Jason Bateman interviews lately i.e. Juno being all over TV and now I love the show to pieces.
I love the editing (so clever), the running jokes and lines ("No touching!"), the consistent characters and backstories, and of course the snappy dialogue. Plus, I have a sudden unpredicted crush on Jason Bateman.
I'm English, and I'm in America for a little while. I caught it on Hulu.com and I'm sad to learn you can't get Hulu outside of the US, thus I'm watching all 3 seasons before I go home. Please say you all love the show too!
What are your favourite quotes or scenes? I love Buster's character so much, the actor who plays him has so many tiny details like him playing with his finger nails when he's nervous. It's so amazing!

I'm so glad you asked this question! I LOVE this show and it's a travesty that it was canceled. It's hard to say which character is my favorite, they're all so brilliant, but it's between Michael, Gob, and Buster. Here's one of Gob's quotes when he was dating Lucille:
Lucille Austero: Today at lunch, you were ashamed to be with me.
Gob: No. I was ashamed to be seen with you. I like being with you.

My partner and I love Arrested Development and can not figure out why FOX cancelled it. Thankfully one of our HD networks shows reruns of the show daily.
Its so hard to pick but one of my favorite scenes is when Tobias is in the hospital with his new hair, thats making him extremely ill, and the Dr says " I'm sorry but the hair is rejecting your body".
And of course when someone pronounces Gobs name like its spelled, LOL

My favorite characters are Gob, Tobias and Buster. My favorite scenes are when Gob and Lindsay are doing chicken imitations and when Gob was dating Liza Minelli.
