Personally i thought open water, they are both based on true facts.

never seen adrift, but seen open water, n i really like it!.
other people iv spoke to, think its boring..
I think its quite good..
will have to check out adrift though.. is that with sharks??

open water 2 was more like adrift, it had no sharks
I liked Open Water. It was so real, you felt their fear.
Adrift kind of leaves you with they feeling that even though it would have been scary, the people were a bit idiotic i.e banging your head on the propeller, fighting over a knife, swimming off on your own and drowning etc...
Frustrating as well. We all watched it and then were all saying that we think we would of been able to get back on the boat. We thought of loads of ways.
So even though it was a good film Open Water was more real.
