it was very unrealistic. stuff like that just kills movies for me. i know most of the stuff in movies is unrealistic but try to make it as realistic as possible. cars doing 360's in mid air in order to get a bomb unhooked from the bottom is just stupid. make him drive far away and ditch the car, or take the bomb off by hand and drive away. something realistic.

absolutely, I would have walked out of the movie theater had I not just bought a heaping bucket of hot-buttered popcorn.

the whole movie pretty much ruined it for me

I didn't care. It's not like David Stratham movies are known for their verisimilitude. In those types of movies I just want something fun and entertaining. Sometimes the absurd is entertaining.

I always go into those types of action flicks with low expectations and anything good is just gravy.

Okay, I'll concede it was over the top but it made made the movie more fun. Truthfully nothing that happens in "The Transporter" movies really happens to anybody and the things he does are a bit far fetched but it's fun to watch anyway.

Yes, in its most basic form those scenes betray our "suspension of disbelief" It can pull you out of a story if a something betrays that notion. Ever have a movie ruined because you can't focus on the character, just the actual actor? That's a prime example.
