Question: It was about a robot who was the housekeeper. She had to plug herself in at night and I know that she was able to fill glasses with milk or orange juice from her finger. Thats all that I remember because I saw it when I was so little. It had to be somewhere between 1985 and 89 that I saw it but it could have been an older movie, I don't know. Anyone recognized this movie??

It was "The Electric Grandmother" (1982) (TV) starring Maureen Stapleton. I remember the movie. The movie is based on the short story by Ray Bradbury entitled, "I Sing the Body Electric." Prior to this version the story was made into an episode of Rod Serling's original Twilight Zone.
Here's the plot: To a family whose children are traumatized by the death of their mother, help comes in a most bizarre way. They receive three pieces, that when joined together, give a recording for an offer for an electric grandmother. They go to a bizarre factory, where they customize their new grandmother, and within a short time, she arrives. The android is equipped with everything needed as a parent and the boys are charmed. The daughter, however, still misses her mother.
I remember how Maureen Stapleton would stand against the wall and charge herself back up at nighttime. The little girl was freaked out by the grandmother and wanted her sent back. She went to the basement one night and unplugged her. The grandma's eyes just opened blankly. She could fill glasses with chocolate milk or juice using just her index finger.

Dude thats sounnds a lot like the tv series sitcome "small wonder". The robots name was vicky the robot. I mean i could be wrong but it sounds a lot like that show.
