Question: I watched this film and i can not remember what it was called.
It was about this man who used to be in some secret service maybe an agent and he retired and he was paranoid someone was out to get him. He had codes on all his doors and guns everywhere in his house, i remember a schene where he is in a car and he is ducking down because he thinks a car is following him, as he gets out the car he shoots at a car going passed because he think that it was following him..
I think its his daughter who gets someone in to look after him because she feels hes getting to bad. this person who comes to look after him coxes him out of being secure, in the end she betrays him and he was right to be secure and someone really was after him... I really want to watch this film again... any ideas? PLEASE!!!

It's an old TV movie with Patrick Stewart (aka Jean Luc Picard). I think the female was played by Kimberly Williams.

Parts of your question sound like the movie A Beautiful Mind with Russell Crowe, but it was his wife, not his daughter in the movie with him, and it was all in his mind, not for real. Could it be that you were mistaken about some of the details?
