I know that I'm forgetting some, but it's nearly 2:30 a.m., and my brain is telling me it's bedtime. *sigh* It's tricky when you say "lead" because I tune in to watch most of these actors even if they aren't the lead. For me, my favorites are the reason I watch. For example, Richard Lynch or Billy Drago might play a minor character, but I'll watch the film for them not most leading actors. Does that make sense? For me, if Mark Dacascos is in a film, HE is who I'm tuning in for!

I cheated a bit on my lists so that I could name some other favorites, such as Will Yun Lee. He's the only reason I watched "Bionic Woman" as long as I did! Otherwise, the show was worthless to me. I became a fan of his through "Witchblade", the short-lived series starring Yancy Butler.

It was Tony Leung in Lust, Caution. But if you're talking about Hollywood or mainstream movies...I actually can't remember.

Outside of Asia, Asians tend to be cast in supporting parts rather than leads. It's easier for half- or part-Asian actors to be 'famous' than full Asians, e.g., Keanu Reeves, Ben Kingsley, etc.

BTW The new movie "21" has some controversy because the real-life students are all Asian, but I think they are all (?) played by Caucasian actors in the movie.

i watched warlords.. so andy jet and takaeshi
