Do you ever appreciate a great television movie or are they just too bland?!

they are lower budget than the theater movies and they are not expected to have as big as an audience. but there has been some good ones. maybe you havent' heard of high school musical, cheetah girls. =)

That is a genuine problem with most made for T.V. movies. I really liked the television movie version of the book Speak. I think it was done very well, but movies like that just don't have a lot of time or budget and that tends to cause problems and make them a little bland.
That and sometimes the directors of those movies tend to lack a bit of style (some directors or others make bad scene cuts, bland cinematography, but not all of them of course), but I think most of the problem is they're low budget so the settings and such of the movie tend to not be too great, or they have to employ bad actors.
I heard of a version of Raisin in the Sun that's made for T.V., produced by Sean "Puffy" Combs (I have no idea if that's how you say or spell it). It's supposed to be really good.
