I've only seen the original and the critics take on the matter is stick with that one - I'd like to see the directors cut eventually though.
Directors cut.
It explains so much more and is FAR easier to understand.
AND you know this is how it was meant to be seen.
The directors cut shows pages from the book.
Without this, I wouldn't BEGIN to understand this wonderful film

i only have the directors cut.. good question what is the difference anyway? the menu is rather odd on it.. brilliant film anyway. i know that the directors cut version is longer by about quarter of an hour ot summat, so id probably get that over original
THey movie isn't worthy seeing unless you watch the directors cut. They cut so much from the movie that was vital and needed in order to understand everything.
