Can anyone identify this movie for me?!
Question: I saw it a long time ago, but I don't know what it is. There was a little girl who knew some sort of secret information (something to do with a map?) and her father was killed because of something she let leak. I think so anyway. She saw him being murdered from under a bed, and went into a state of shock for a year or two. All she would do is sit on a bed and rip up newspapers. Then a boy about her age starts coming around her place, and pulls her out of it for a brief period of time. I remember a scene in which they fly a remote control airplane in a big open field. Then said boy comes back around her place a few days later, only this time with a friend. The boy's friend asks if he knows the girl (the girl had said hello) and the boy says no. This sends the girl back into her state of shock.
This is all I remember, and it's been bugging me for years. I've got to find out what this movie is.

wow. good luck with this one. i'll try to ask people at work and at the video store tomorrow. i'll also do some research. i know what it's like. the original reason i logged on to yahoo! answers was because i had just a line from a movie, and couldn't figure it out. (and still haven't) i've only ever asked one question at yahoo and have never gotten a right answer.
The scenes are familiar. But like you, I'm lost too. Gosh, this will also bug me for sure.
