When you watch foreign films?!
Question: Do you watch them subtitle or dubbed? For me I hate watching them dubbed. If there is no subtitled option I wont even buy/rent it!

I hate dubs, they take away the acting!
I ALWAYS use subtitles, I think that we way we can learn the language a bit too!
I usually watch them subtitled.
Subtitles, because it is really easy to read the lines and then look at the picture. Dubbed tapes are kind of silly to watch and listen to because the voices just do not match up and it makes the movie sound like a bad kung fu film.

No i wont watch it dubbed -I like to hear the language they're speaking and read what they're saying at the same time - That's how i learned hindi.
I watch them with subtitles. Frankly, I find the dubbing to be distracting. - and I'd prefer to hear the movie in its original language.

I watch foreign films all the time. Most of them are made in Hollywood but I wouldn't want them dubbed into proper English.
But for other languages I agree that subtitled gets you a much better feel for the movie.
they have to be subtitled. don't like dubbed films, you can see the people's lips move, but it doesn't go with what they are saying.
I prefer subtitles, even if the film is in English originally! I hate dubbed films, they ruin the film and its magic.
i watch them subtitled. i also can't stand dubbed... to me its takes away the feeling of the film... subtitled can do that also but not as much.

TUBE, Korean Movie and it is about Korean Inspector try to catch suspect. It's almost similar situation as of "Money Train."

I get so frustrated watching foreign films. I want to watch not read -- but the one foreign film that I have that's dubbed the voices don't fit the characters, let alone the lips. Argh.
i like movies with subtitles, i hate them dubbed too they seem fake
I do the subtitled ones.
Then I have to watch them again...as the first time around I am too busy reading.
Even my kids like them...of course they liked 'em better when mom used to read them to them.

I prefer the subtitled ones....dubbed reminds me of a bad lip sync
