Why are all american films based on some fighting ?!

Question: Have we regressed to some primitive form ? Can't we have a film about something else than conflict? Even the 10,000 BC film is so ridiculous. People could speak then, why are they portrayed as some monkeys hurling sticks and grunting?

I don't remember much violence in The Wizard of Oz. Or Amadeus. Or the Sound of Music. Or Fantasia. Or All the President's Men.
Conflict is interesting. If it wasn't, would you have gone to see 10,000 BC?
(I agree, that movie was terrible.)

As a woman, I enjoy action films. It doesn't bother me in the least. And Americans kick serious ***. I guess that's why most films are based on fighting.

Conflict is an essential part of any story.

Sometimes it is a physical conflict, other times it is emotional or mental.

because we americans are infatuated with war and figthing...
