It does and it doesn't
hows that for a vague answer lol!
I personally think that in the end, its up to the person watching it - i mean, i watch horror movies, play violent video games, and it doesn't make me want to go out and kill people, because i can establish the difference between fantasy and reality. I guess there are some people who cant, but i dont belive that is right to blame the violence on our tv screens for peoples actions. As i said, at the end of the day, its the person carrying the gun and pulling the trigger that is deciding to do so themselves. The tv or video game isn't there pulling the trigger for them.

On a different level, I stopped swimming in anything other than a swimming pool after I saw the movie JAWS --so you can see what kind of effect it had on me!!
