What's a good movie to rent for the weekend ?!
Question: My very noisey Daughter and her 4 month old son Takoda{not noisey } are going off for the weekend. So We decided to have dinner and a movie with my Mother .My Mother is 69 and I really need a good movie that's not got ""nudity'''' in it and carries a good story line .I'm at a loss for Idea's Can you help Me ?

hmm the god father maybe,the shinning. hmm chick fliks i think have no nudity. dead silence is a horror movie but i was amazed it had no nudity, most horror movies do.

Also the movie called Fracture with Anthony Hopkins. Thats a good one.
I just bought "Stardust" it's really good and doesn't have any risque parts, it's entertaining, has adventure, romance and drama...check it out...

How about "Enchanted" or "Sydney White". Enchanted was clean (rated PG), but in Sydney White, they discuss "stuff", but don't show anything. Try this website for a complete review:

If your mom likes a good romance with old fashioned swashbuckling and a bit of fantasy, she might like "Stardust" with Michelle Pfeiffer, or "The Princess Bride". Both have great plots and no nudity.
If she likes a romeo & juliet type of plot but modernized and set in Ireland with a real twist, she might like "The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns" with Whoopi Goldberg and Colm Meaney. She might also like "Waking Ned Devine", the story about what happens to a small town in Ireland when one of their citizens wins the National Lottery. Both are VERY funny!
My mom liked "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" with Sean Connery.

Its about a down on her luck widow who grows pot to pay off her debt. Hilarious!
august rush is a great one..im 16 and i just saw it yesterday..i thought it would be gay and horrible but i loved it..great story and puts you in a great mood

Pay It Forward:
Review: One of the best movies I've ever seen and it's based on a true story...it starts with a little boy...and the movement that is caused by his belief in doing good for people and extracting their promise to "pay it forward" is simply amazing and heartwarming. I rate this 5 stars and a box of tissues.
Simon Birch: Outstanding, fantastic movie of two youths who come from different backgrounds who are best friends. Simon is afflicted with a birth defect, but that doesn't stop his brave and heroic heart from being an inspiration (except to his useless parents) to all who witness his acceptance of his circumstances and waits for God to use him in His plan. Naomi Judd and Oliver Platt star in this 5 star excellent movie.
Those 3 should keep you all warm, fuzzy, teary, happy and inspired.

P.S. AUGUST RUSH IS ALSO AMAZING. A bit farfetched, but great performances by the child and by Robin Williams. Very eloquent and sad with a fantasy like happy ending.
if your mother is into ice skating at all .. i recommend the cutting edge. it's a movie based on an unfitting pair on the ice that must learn to work together and eventually find out they fit extremely well together.
if she enjoys that i recommend the cutting edge 3, it comes out on dvd on the first of april!

I am trying to remember the name of the Movie about Sled Dog's abandoned in Antarctica, it came out just a couple of years ago, it was based on a true story. I want to say Dennis Quaid was in it, but I am probably wrong on that.
If you can find it with my sorry description, it is a great Family Friendly Movie. Antarctica ? No Nudity ! (hehehe) I can't remember very much in the way of foul language either. Good luck !
