Question: cheesiest horror movie you have ever seen?

Answers: cheesiest horror movie you have ever seen?

Check out The Corpse Grinders http://imdb.com/title/tt0068414/

The owner of a cat food company runs out of meat, and starts grinding up dead bodies from the graveyard and putting them in the cat food causing the cats to crave human flesh and murder their owners. The grinder is clearly a cardboard box with a few lights and some stuff from a deli screwed into it.

On a side note, a friend of mine saw Corpse Grinders in my collection and bought me part 2 which came out 28 years later. It's the same story only with sci-fi added to it...that being that a race of cat and dog aliens come to earth beause they hear that the cat food is so good. I can't bring myself to watch it.

Army of Darkness...it's cheesy in a good way though...

or Blacula.

Castle Freak.....even the cover for this movie is so cheesy...I laughed my butt off.....I would recommend it to everyone just to have a good laugh.

Sasquatch...it was so stupid and cheesy

Feast

Probably... Pulse. It was really stupid. Hardly anything scary happened and all this CGI stuff didn't cut it. Along with One missed call.

House of wax. Me and my friends were laughing at the parts we were supposed to be screaming at.

...oh definitely, that would be the 1980 campy zombie shocker, "Night of the Zombies", which is also known as "Hell of the Living Dead"; it was directed by exploitive knock-off Euro-filmmaker Bruno Mattei, who used the pseudo-name 'Vincent Dawn', to cash in on the popularity of George Romero's original 1987 horror classic, "Dawn of the Dead"...

...oh, where can I begin, with this film??? Can we start with the half dozen group of weekend warrior mercenaries, who while gleefully blowing away, and slicing the throats of attacking terrorists, pine adolescently and lustfully for the scantly clad New Guinea native female villagers??? How about the toddler little boy zombie in the film, who bites off and chews up his father's nose, and then is blown away, with a barrage of gunfire, by the previously mentioned mercenaries, who take virtually half the running time of the film, before they figure out that the only way to kill the zombies, is to shoot them in the head; I mean, these guys are absolute morons!!! There's this crazy dude in the film, who is one of the mercenaries; when he wears his military ballcap, with the brim forward, he is normal, but when he switches the ballcap, so that it's backwards, he goes absolutely and maniacally crazy-nutzoid. A lot of laughable puking in this movie, from both the men AND woman, and it's looks like they just held some milky oatmeal in their mouths, and when the director said 'action', they exaggeratingly ejected their mouth's contents. A paper-suited clad radiation expert, carrying a 'radiation detector', warns that the radiation gas, which is causing the zombie virus, is getting worse; never mind the fact that when he looks at his 'detector', and turns one of the knobs, only then does the needle on the 'detecter' peg out. One of the zombies goes to tear into our heroine, a spunky news reporter (...who thanks to one of the mercenaries, becomes addicted to chewing tobacco), but goes for the brains by reaching into her mouth, at which time, her eyeballs pop out....

...finally, let's not forget about the short running time of the film, which had to be padded out, to ensure a longer running time, by stategically inserting old National Geographic stock footage, in various points in the film; in some of these scenes, our spunky news reporter, all of a sudden, becomes an expect on the local natives, and in trying to negotiate with the natives, in order to help them, this supposedly gives her an excuse to strip down to nothing but a leafy loin cloth, with native paint all over her naked body, at which time, she jogs and jiggles her way through the jungle, in search of the native village being plagued by the zombie virus....

....this is definitely one of those 'so-bad-it's-good' horror films, which just cries out to be sought after, and rewatched again...and again...and again, if only to wonder how such a film could have ever been made....

...I might have given away quite a bit here, but trust me, my description barely begins to describe how incredibly, outrageously, hilariously and enjoyably bad this movie really is!!!

'Head Cheese.'

(True fans of Texas Chainsaw will know what I mean by this reference).

Just kidding.

Actually, there are a few that come to mind- but I feel torn, because some of the Cheesy films are also cult classics, too.

For example:

1. Motel Hell (Cheesy, but not the cheesiest, because it was also a unique film, although it was one of many clones of TCM).
2. That movie where some dude goes around whacking people with a lawnmower (I forgot the name of it)
3. Horror express

And others.

The Incredible Melting Man. It was gawd awful
but at the same time interesting.

Define Cheesy.

Well the ALL TIME WORST MOVIE EVER has to be "Son of the Mask"

I was totally disgusted.

Darkness. I don't think it is even out on DVD or anything. :)

The cheesiest is probably a tie between House of Wax and Texas Chainsaw Massacre- the next generation (I'm not kidding on that title either). I think Texas wins though because I literally was laughing the whole time. It has Matthew Mccoughney in it and he has this remote controlled leg (already I'm giggling). The only reason I was watching it to begin with was I rented all the the Texas chainsaw movies in one night and I was comparing them. House of Wax I laughed hysterically when Paris Hilton died (if I ruined it for you, then you didn't need to see that movie anyways). Scary movies are suppose to make you frightened, not cry because you're laughing too hard.

Dead Alive/Braindead certainly has to be in with a shout. Certainly a cheesy, and quite disturbing, film.

House of Wax
13 Ghosts
