how far is a length of string. Who knows its a very popular subject and the Jaws theme song is just as famous as any other film. I think they went to far with Matrix 3, Harry Potter 4, Rocky 7 (or was it 6?) the new godfather film, Indiana Jones (the new film) and all just a way to say that obviously cinema and this pop film market have sunk their claws in to our (the consumers) pockets and won't let go. Jaws 5, oh its about time they stopped biting our wallets, and gave the cinemas power to the audience and not the money makers. I think they are dumb.
Jaws is a great film, the second one was bearable, but the third and fourth were awful.
IF they do it they MUST put a decent budget into it, so we dont have any more bendy sharks teeth and plaster-of -paris sharks.
Proper cgi, good script etc, it will be fine.
As long as they dont try to do a direct remake of the first. Thats the best and originl and must not be tampered with!
There is opportunity to make another Jaws film. If they make one I hope its a more realistic looking shark.
