Who would watch Transformers 2, in 2009?!

Question: To those who didn't like Transformers the film (2007), would you watch the 2nd movie?

Lots of people didn't like the movie, some think it sucked for whatever reasons like it was boring, bad humor, corny lines, slow moving, too much human story, hard to see the action, didn't like the physical or character designs, poor plot, hate Michael Bay, whatever, whatever.

After your disappointment with the 1st movie, would you watch the 2nd movie when it comes out? Why or why not?

I will definitely watch the movie. When going to watch this type of movie, I have a mindset that I am not going to view Oscar worthy acting. I am there to watch giant robots fighting. It doesn't even matter what the storyline or the character development is like; if there are robots fighting (rendered using the best technology available) then I have received what I went for. Acting and story would be bonuses. When watching this type of movie, just don't take it too seriously, and you maybe enjoy it for what it is: a robot fightfest.

Heinous movie. Represents everything I hate about Hollywood big budget films, but mostly just represents my hatred for Michael Bay. I'll probably see the sequel, but only once it comes out on dvd and only because I have the Blockbuster movie pass.

I don't like the director, but why not to go see it, because it ROCK!

When the film came out, I never heard one distressingly bad thing about it. But now that people have seen it over and over and for some, also have forgotten the many good things about it, it's been left open for some of what I call, "afterthought criticism".

Me personally, I really enjoyed the film. I saw it about three or four times in theaters (I work there), and I have the DVD (at least until the Blu-ray comes out). I will definitely be there opening night for Transformers 2 because I actually appreciate what they're trying to do with the series.

if someone else was paying i would

Great movie!! watched it once, and liked it very much.Although storyline was good, the actors weren't appreciable.
But I didnt mind the poor acting till i enjoyed fantastic environment created on screen by the bots(they were awsome and real attraction!)and yes I'll definitetly go for 2nd one!!!

i didn't hate the 1st movie i think its the best movie ever made
so i'm definitely gonna watch the 2nd one
shia is the plus in the movie

Does this mean, your not going to watch, the sequel? I watched it with my family. And we all liked it. I bought a copy a
week later. Yes, I would watch the 2nd.

i loved Transformers, and i along with a robo-nutty nation would go see it with me, just cuz you didnt like it, does not mean no one else likes it, Transformers was awesome and i bet the sequel will be just as good
