How much of Party Monster is true?!
Question: I just watched the movie Part Monster. I was wondering if anyone knew how much of it was true and how much of it was made up to make an interesting movie.

I've read the book (it's sitting on my shelf as we speak) and like the person who posted before me, it's pretty true to the book.
So i'd imagine that most or all of it is true (except for where the rat tells James everything... i don't think that happened. HAH!)
It's about as true as a description of an even from one person's point of view possibly can be.
Read the book. it's pretty good!
The movie is a pretty faithful adaptation of the nonfiction novel, so I would say it is 100% true. Everything from the club kids to the murder.
