How come high school musical and the 2nd movie is so popular?!
Question: i can't stand hearing of high school musical 2 and high school musical anymore. and the songs, there gay as a song could ever be. what made that GAY movie so big? i just don't get it.

My kids have the movie and they watch it over and over almost daily. The songs are kind of annoying, but they love them.
Im going to list why it is so popular-
1) Because kids like that kind of thing
2) The songs are catchy
3) Zac is hot
4) The age group that watches this movie dosent think these song are gay. and neiher do i, I actualy kinda like them!
I geuss because thats what kids want to see now a days. Im 17 and cant stand those movies. The girls love the cute boys and visa versa. They like the music and the dancing, I geuss they just dont get how much of a loser you have to be to actually understand the movies and still like them. You know what they say though; to each his own.

First of all "gay" is not an appropriate insult.
Second of all, High School Musical is great! I'm 19 and I love it, and so does my sister, and she's 21. It's not just a movie for kids.
Also, the second one was the most watched show/program in cable history, so they must have done something right.
