I saw it. Thought John Carpenter's The Fog is better
Would have been better if they were closer to the King novella, they tried to overdo it and that is why it failed in my opinion
Not seen the film, but read the story - I think it was in with some ofther short stories of his, it was really a brilliant story, leaves you with that haunted feeling!
If you liked it and not read much of his stuff I can really recommend reading The Stand, or IT or Desperation - Stephen King flims are great, but the books are even better!

I didn't think it was as good as green mile or shawshank. Didn't follow the original story. Although different to the original, the ending was quite good, very horrific. I'd say 6/10. It just didn't quite get the atmosphere.
