It was slated for a 2009 release, but it is on hold indefinitely. The script has been written, but there's been some issues regarding who owns it and who can legally distribute it. Unless they can sort it out, the movie will never ben filmed or released.
i hope they come out with one cause i absolutly LOVE halo it is the best game ever invented but i hope it comes out soon!!!
