i dont know your answer but im guessing it could be catlow.
i know nimoy was anxious at the time to shake off his spock image so i think he probably would have been happy to have that bit in the script.
and he was a bounty hunter so he was more than likey to get into a fight.

edit: id guess he was having a tub bath at the time and got rudely interupted?
