Answers: Nov 2010 and May 2011.will this be the Ultimate blockbuster.?

I have taken the grandchildren to see all the HP films to date - they've loved them all and they've 'lived' each one.
I don't think they will like a film split in 2 -it'll be like the 'lecky' going off in their little worlds !
It would be better to charge an extra £2 and have a 15 minute break 1/2 way through
But , whatever - don't take your own popcorn or you'll have to leave !!

no.
new one out this year
then deathly hallows in 2010

hopefully this be the Ultimate blockbuster
i like HP movies

No.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince 2010.
Harry Potter and the DEATHLY Hallows 2011.

I'm still not sure why they've decided to split it - trying to hold on to the cash cow methinks?

For most of the first half of the book they're hanging around their tent/luxury flat twiddling their thumbs, there are some funny exchanges but they could cut them out without losing the momentum of the movie

Also the nerve of them making us wait 6 months to see the second half is outstanding! They seem to be taking advantage of the kids school holidays - the first half is for the Christmas holidays and the second is just in time for the spring term break.

How long is it gonna be though? 4 hours?!!

Warner Bros. will release the first part of ''Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows'' in November 2010 with a second movie following in May 2011

(FROM VARIETY) – The final installment of the Harry Potter movie franchise is being released in two parts, six months apart. Warner Bros. is set to release the first part of Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows in November 2010 with the second part of the finale opening in May 2011. Both movies will be directed by David Yates and written by Steve Kloves. The movies will be shot concurrently, and it's not yet clear at what point in the story, adapted from J.K. Rowling's 784-page book, the films will break. The seventh and final novel sees Harry and his friends battle archnemesis Voldemort to the death. The book sold a record 11 million copies during the first 24 hours after its release last July. The sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, also directed by Yates, will open this November. Daniel Radcliffe and the rest of the cast from the sixth movie are already confirmed for the finale.

Hope this helps.

I didnt know they were going to make more.........
How long can it go on for until harry decides he wants to quit easy money i guess!!!!!

I loved the book, but i thought it lagged a bit in the middle, with all the hiding out and stuff.
If the first movie ends at the beginning of the "Battle of Hogwarts", then the final movie will be brilliant.
Being able to dedicate so much time to the end of the book, will do the story more justice I think. It was just the most brilliant ending to the story.

I'm really happy it's being split, can't wait to see it.

I don't think it was necessary really... I think out of final 3 books, The Dealthy Hallows is the one with the least action and the most that could be trimmed off it.

I think it's really a money making scheme.

True, but it will still be as poor as the others, especially now the actors are like 20

i hope they put all thats in the books in2 the next movies!!! the last movie, order of the phoenix, left half the story out!!! :(

I suppose one to make money but two to do the books justice and have EVERYTHING in them.

never seen any of the Harry Potters Country, but yeah I can imagine that they'll be the ultimate!

can't wait.
