i have, i thought it was very cute
This is the kind of movie that conceals deeper depths and vividly exhilarating emotion overall.
First interpretation: "Ok, it's a movie about a penguin that dances and has trouble finding a mate. How profound can this movie be?" Then the movie revealed themes I never thought they would accomplish such as Religious fanaticism and Human's destruction of the environment.
It reminded me of 6th Sense because it was so twisted yet taught a very important moral lesson.
Robin Williams is the highlight of the movie, his 2 characters are both well portrayed and well voiced.
Highly recommended. It made me want to go out and save the penguins.

It gets kind of boring & long-ish tho, esp for a "kids movie".
Ya i have seen it.. My son gets very bored with it very fast.. it kinda drags on and is boring.
I loved it! I loved the music - I even got the soundtrack when it came out. It's a fun movie that both kids and adults can enjoy - those are rare.

i saw it. i own the movie, in fact. i thought it was good but i think i would have enjoyed it more if i was a bit younger. i also had very high expectations for the movie so when i saw it, it didnt seem as good. but yeah, i do think its worth watching.
It was mediocre. It was entertaining as far as the singing and dancing, but the plot just went downhill when it got all preachy. It's like the filmmakers were like, "How can we make a dancing penguin relevant in today's world? I know -- he'll go on a crusade to save the environment!" It seemed contrived and forced.
So it was entertaining enough, but not a spectacular movie.

But i don't know, all those animation movies seem to have the same story "someone/something is missing and they go look for it, then all sorts of things happen on their trip..."
This movie was different tho, but still it felt the same as i described above.
