The Lost Boys~I do have to agree with this one, which I was lucky enough to have seen twice in the theater. Kiefer Sutherland never looked better than this! But, my personal favorite is Billy Wirth, who gives Jason Patric competition.
Solarbabies~OK, so, this is strictly cult film territory. It reteams Jason Patric and Jami Gertz ("The Lost Boys"), along with Lukas Haas and Adrian Pasdar ("Heroes").
Prayer of the Rollerboys~We're still in cultdom with this one, which stars Corey Haim, Patricia Arquette ("Medium"), and Christopher Collet.
There are kids of all eras in these films, some of which are dead serious, while others are~um~different. Some are just strange! Exactly what are the boundaries here?

Check out The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys. It is the newest one I could think of. It is pretty similar to Stand By Me. It doesn't rip it off, it's just similar.

I never saw those movies... when I think of movies with kids, I think of "the lost boys", and "oliver twist". What about "risky business" or "the breakfast club" ?
