I'd like to believe so. Kristen is a good actress, and she tends to pick her roles carefully. I'd say she's a safe bet and I can actually imagine her in that role.
As for Robert, he wouldn't have been a choice for me, but seeing as they did pick him, maybe he's got that charm needed for Edward... he does look like a vampire. I hope it will go well.
I think they'll be fine. They were hired for their acting ability, and Robert is a pretty decent actor.
i actually haven't heard of either, but i'm going to see the movie-- i loved the book!

They seem alright to me. Wouldn't have been my first choices but "they are chosen for their abilities." I still cant wait to see the movie.
