No there won't be a sequel. The Coen brothers don't roll like that.
Read the book and the ending will make a little more sense. The Coen brothers did a great job capturing almost every aspect of the book, so it will be an easy book to visualize.
The ending was supposed to be like that. You have to see some of the other Coen Brothers movies and you'll get it. They like to keep the moviegoer guessing.
Not unless there's a sequel to the book, which I don't think there is
