i was really excited to see this movie, and afterwards... was a little disappointed. Sure the special effects were cool in some places, in others - it was so comically obvious, it was a little distracting... And then the acting! When the uncle? dies, it was a little bit of a let down. The movie seemed to be continuously building up to some big resolution - but in the end, falls a little flat. Maybe it was the narration that detracted from the movie and didn't let the audience get fully involved in the movie/events happening on the screen.

i don't know if it was the worst but as a history major in university i was disappointed

it was rediculously awful. I didnt expect it to be good, but damn.. it couldnt have gotten a lot worse "/

people in the theatre were laughing. I was too. It was hard not to. As if people could speak english at all, not to mention speak it like that? Pathetically incorrect.. and i agree with you ,one of the worst of 2008.

Yes I Have Watched it for Free in this website

and it was alright

I couldn't agree more. I couldn't get over the fact that its supposed to be taking place 10,000 years before Christ was born and yet their speaking plain English. That and all of the pyramids and the advanced civilizations, none of that stuff came until much, much later than 10,000 B.C. I also thought that it was a complete knockoff of Apocalypto and one scene was a direct copy from the scene in 300 where Leonidas shoots the spear at Xerxes and proves to everyone that he's not a god.
