Which movie is better, the Chronicles of Riddick, or Pitch Black?!

"Chronicles of Riddick" is a pretty good movie in itself and in some ways more imaginative than it's prequel, but as a movie "Pitch Black" is superior. The dialogue, the direction, and most of all the characterization are far better in PB than in COR.
And there's one other thing: COR is interesting and it's fun piece of sci-fi but there's no real depth to it. PB on the on the hand is deep, at least if you want it to be. I mean it doesn't hit you over the head with it; you can watch it just as a good horror-thriller and I'm sure most people do. But if you want to go deeper than that, the movie has got depth.

Depends on what you want. Overall,Pitch Black is a much better film - better characterization, more original, much better script, better pace and better acting. however The Chronicles are a better action film. So if you don't feel like being stressed out with suspence and just want to watch something fun, go for the chronicles.
Pitch Black...not even close.
Pitch Black. For the second movie they spent so much on special effects that they didn't have money left over to pay for a decent script. Plus, Jack got turned into a total Mary Sue.
