What are your thoughts of the film writers strike? shoul dthey get paid more?!
Question: if it's a bad script the movie is not gonna do good...
if the script was bad angelina jolie and brad pitt woudl be stuck doing porn
and adam sandler wouldn't be funny w/o the screenwriters
there are so many actors u hear about in 1 or 2 movies and u never hear about them again...
there is soo much talent out there
and the supply excedes the demand by far
so i don't think it would be that har dto replace actors
it is stupid that actors get a guaranteed contract REGARDLESS if ther emovie sells or not

Sure, the script is an integral part of most movies. They are just not so recognizable because they work behind the scenes unlike actors like, say, Tom Cruise, who earn tens of millions per movie. I say writers deserve more pay. The good ones, at least
Definitely! I think actors are being paid too much nowadays.. There are even new records of paid salaries in films. Major movie companies belittle the importance of writers. Thus, cutting the wages for the people behind the scenes.
