I didn't think I would enjoy it, but it is now one of my favorites. The best line in the whole movie is:
"What did they get you for?"
"Bought a car, turned out to be an alien robot. Who knew?"
I did!! and so did my husband. he's watched at least once a month since it's come out. I love that movie.
is there such a thing as wearing out a dvd? cause as many times as I've watched it I might actually do that, that movie rocks, looking forward to Transformers 2 out in summer 2009
I loved it! Not only was this director Michael Bay's best film to date, but the cast was great, the story was funny and interesting, and the special effects were incredible. I was blown away by how realistic the Transformers looked!
My brother joked that it would've been better had they used Chrysler/Dodge models for their cars than GMC...but that's my brother.
worst movie ever. Tacky "plot", action scenes filmed so that you couldn't even make out what was going on, appalling acting, ridiculous end scene -- transformer wants to stay with boy, boy says yeah cool, then the next scene is boy and girl making out on top of his new best friend!! What's with that!!?? Someone should just shoot Michael Bay and be done with it.

Went and saw it TWICE in theaters =)
Yeah, it was freaking ah-mazing.
First of all Michael Bay is a tool bag and deserves nothing short of repeated cigarette burns about the face and ears. Second, Steve Spielberg is the smartest movie Jew EVER. Third, Transformers could have sucked bigger ballz than Pearl Harbor and, well, anything else Bay has ever done combined. But it didn't. THAT is why Transformers rocked, even with the borderline homosexual paint job on Optimus Prime. Autobots, roll out! Excellent movie!
