that was on tonight. I didn't watch it though. I don't think they end up together. They were close to having sex and her brother called and she had to go visit him.
They don't end up together, she's all wrapped up with her brother...I think she learns a good lesson =)
In the "extras" part of the dvd, the director says that they couldn't wind up that storyline because of all the other storylines. The final scene of Susan and Carl working late, and him saying "goodnight", hesitating and then leaving, had to be their ending. It doesn't look like they got together.
If you get a chance, look at the "Deleted Scenes" section in "Extras", some are very funny and others, very poignant. This is one of my favorite movies!

They don't end up together. After she had the interruption with the brother, he went home and she went to visit her brother, which was sad. They were both working late on Christmas eve I think it was and wished each other Merry Christmas as he left. You could take it as they don't end up together, or as maybe something could happen for them to have another chance together down the track.
No, it went back to the same awkward phase they were in before.
I think this made the movie better- like some relationships DO fail..
