The Terminator (1984) movie question?!
Question: If the T-1000 was sent back in time instead of Arnies Terminator to 1984 to hunt down and kill Sarah Connor, would it had a better chance in killing Sarah Connor than the T-800.
And would it have been a harder terminator for Kyle Reese to kill and why?

Well, the T-1000 can morph parts of his body and can easily recover form things so I think that yes there would have been a better chance for Sarah Connor to be killed and I think that Kyle Reese would have had a harder time killing the T-1000, that is if he could kill him at all.

well maybe coz it was more advanced but it never would have killed sarah connor coz that just wasnt in the story line.
more recently, why have they sent back the older model of terminator in the tv series, sarah connor chronicles - surely they would send the T-1000?
Who knows, all this stuff is sci-fi anyway.
The T-1000 was an advanced prototype and would not of been used for assassination missions. Instead the T-1000 models were used in future to protect skynet from attack from the resistance. A T-800 was more than enough to kill Sarah Connor the first time and the machines wouldn't of wasted a T-1000 for a simple task.
I would have sent Arnie back to kill Sarah Connors ancestors 10'000 years ago. They had only stones to throw at him!
There are SO many problems with the Terminator time traveling story lines that I wouldn't even know where to begin.
And how is it that Skynet is sending all these Ts when in the first movie Kyle said the rebels blew up the time travel device, which explains why he was the only human sent back?
How many of these time travel devices does Skynet have anyway?
The movies are still entertaining even if they don't make ANY sense.
