Title of a 90's Sci-Fi movie??!


Question: Ok so i saw this movie when i was little and i think it was from the 90's. it was this strange sci-fi movie and from what i remember there was something were they turned people into giant mutant animal things?? like i remember someone being turned into this weird crab thing...if anyone knows what movie this is i would be so happy!

...the first thing off the top of my head, as far as a movie from the '90's, depicting 'something that was turning people into giant mutant animal things' is the sci-fi film, "The Guyver", which garnished a follow-up sequel, entitled "Guyver: Dark Hero"; in these films, an unscrupulous scientific team has infused the ability to create mutant monsters out of humans, and a young kid finds this strange alien device, which is absorbed into his body, and when it becomes necessary to do so, the kid can willfully command the device to cover his body with a rather unique alien armor, the abilities of which he uses to fight the mutated human monsters...
Oh and now I know why that transforming part gave me nightmares, lol, even now it's creepy to watch! Report It

    I recall the "crab thing" quite vividly. Actually, I think Mark Hamill turns into that particular monster. Since CGI wasn't used in this, the transformations have a weirder quality than if they had morphed them.

    There also is a sequel, but I've only see a few scenes of this one. I don't know if people transform in this one or not.
